Q3 performance of DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP beyond expectations

The business results of DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP in the third quarter exceeded our expectations. We managed to surpass 40,300 concluded insurance contracts, which is a 31% increase compared to the same period last year.

Even in the third quater DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP continued to grow rapidly, surpassing 10,300 sold policies per month in Central and Eastern Europe, with a quarter-on-quarter growth of 5 %.

The third quarter was not just about excellent sales results, but we also completed the demanding merger of DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP s.r.o. and Ingenasys s.r.o. At the same time Ingenasys was renamed to DEFEND INSURANCE HOLDING s.r.o., which is now fully owned by the original DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP management.

Part of our improving services was the launch of the new website, www.defendinsurance.eu, where our clients and partners can find important information about our company, products and services in 5 different languages.

Our goal was to create a clearer and more user-friendly website where users can find everything they are looking for, and if not, they can rely on our online support. Due to the incredible growth rate of our company, we have also created a comprehensive career section that provides information on what candidates can expect from our work, what values we share and, of course, easy to access information about open positions and a simple application process. We believe that all these changes will be well received and the positive reactions we have already enjoyed confirm this," says Kateřina Písaříková, Marketing Manager.

In the fourth quarter, DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP is expecting many more opportunities and challenges.

"This year was a symbol of change and it will not be any different in the last quarter. As a result of Brexit, our main partner Lloyd's of London has established a fully authorized and licensed insurance company, Lloyd's Insurance Company S.A., based in Brussels, which will underwrite insurance contracts in the European Union from 1 January 2019. Owing to this change and IDD coming into effect, we will change our insurance documentation by the new year, " says Allan LaGrange, Underwriting Director, of the plans for the end of the year.

Although our administrative team will be busy, we expect to maintain a high growth rate with a goal of processing 148,000 insurance contracts this year.
