The history of the DEFEND brand dates back to 1994. Since 2012, the DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP from the Czech Republic has gradually expanded to Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Great Britain. Since 2019, we have been part of the American insurance company Fortegra, rated A- (Excellent), and its European subsidiary Fortegra Europe Insurance Company is our main insurer. This partnership has mutually strengthened our position in the European markets and enabled our further expansion. From 2022, you will also find us in the Baltics and now also in Romania.
Our goal is to help clients reduce risk and increase their sense of security and financial stability by providing tailored insurance products, fast claims handling and superior customer service.
